Job Description

Job Purpose

The Manager of People & Culture will support the strategic execution of HR initiatives, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and talent strategy while fostering a high-performance culture. This role involves managing key People & Culture functions, including compliance, talent management, employee engagement, and operational HR processes, to drive organizational success. Collaborating across departments and with senior leaders, the Manager will play a key role in ensuring HR practices support business objectives effectively and sustainably.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Partnership and Leadership

  • Collaborate with business leaders to align HR initiatives with organizational objectives and enhance workforce productivity.
  • Provide operational and tactical HR leadership, ensuring people initiatives align with organizational goals.
  • Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives to reflect the multicultural workforce and organizational values.

Workforce Planning and Talent Management

  • Oversee manpower planning and recruitment strategies to maintain a diverse and high-quality talent pipeline aligned with business goals.
  • Collaborate with the Head of Talent Management in driving key processes such as performance management, Individual Development Plans (IDPs), and succession planning to ensure alignment with strategic organizational goals and employee growth.
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development teams to refine and implement training programs that enhance employee capabilities and align them with business priorities.

Employee Relations and Engagement

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee relations issues, guiding managers on disciplinary actions and formal hearings.
  • Foster a positive work environment by enhancing employee relationships, morale, productivity, and retention.
  • Actively contribute to engagement and retention strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational culture and values.

Operational Excellence

  • Streamline onboarding processes to promote seamless integration and engagement of new hires.
  • Manage HR performance reporting, budget oversight, and corrective actions using HR dashboards.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations while promoting fair and equitable HR practices.
  • Continuously improve HR processes for efficiency and enhanced employee experience.

Change Management

  • Lead change initiatives, ensuring effective strategies for adoption and minimizing resistance.
  • Cascade organizational vision and strategy to teams, fostering ownership and motivation across all levels.
  • HR Compliance and Analytics
  • Stay updated on labor laws to ensure all HR policies and practices meet legal requirements.
  • Leverage analytics and HR dashboards to drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Implement HR frameworks, tools, and dashboards that align with internal policies and external requirements.

Localization and Diversity

  • Ensure localization of HR initiatives and align diversity and inclusion efforts with both regional and corporate objectives.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or a related field (Master's preferred).
  • 810 years in HR, preferably in multi-unit restaurant, retail, or F&B industries.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems.
