1. Meet both individual and aggregate targets, (production volumes, projects, yield, availability, SHE) by pro-actively making appropriate adjustments in pursuit of delivery results (production volumes, projects, yield, availability, SHE) and quality results (product quality, service quality, customer satisfaction).
2. Drive cost/capital competitiveness by Ensuring all reporting managers meet professional/technical/operational standards.

- Review maintenance philosophy to support optimum and cost-effective practices.
- Contribute to maintenance strategy; translate strategy into practice and implement.
- Ensure that the general maintenance plan fits into the production plan.
- Manage all resources (people, money, equipment, etc) responsibly, ensuring safety and continuous compliance with requirements (cost, quality, due dates, targets).
- Cost optimization by ensuring maintenance plans effectiveness.
- Backlog of critical maintenance and function testing.
- Managing shutdowns and ad-hoc projects.
- Lead, manage and participate in emergency response procedures.
- Manage contracts and contractors * Incident identification and management.
- Manage budget and ensure financial discipline amongst the maintenance department.
- Consistently reduce all non-value-adding work.
- Have frequent financial meetings with subordinates to ensure proper cost control.
- Ensure that all equipment is maintained to legal requirements and is available to meet the production plan (within budget).
- Consistently improve productivity.
- Communicate and ensure that vision, values and business direction are embraced by the team.
- Performance management of team (facilitate frequent performance dialogue and take corrective action/give recognition) and managing career development of subordinates.
- Ensure proper talent management in area of responsibility.
- Communicate, facilitate and execute change and improvement effectively.
- Capacity building within the maintenance group to ensure resources availability for the project team.
- Develop annual work and project plans.
- Review/implement maintenance plans on non-statutory equipment.
- Ensure that plans are executed, and team objectives are achieved consistently in a safe work
environment.
- Ensure timely results and compliance through control systems and measures.
- Make quality decisions and find solutions which will improve team results.
- Risk base inspection studies: scheduling of equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and statutory requirements.
- Ensure compliance with Ma'aden safety regulation, rules, procedures and processes.
- Ensure embedding of Ma'aden's Safety Culture Transformation Program.
- Facilitate and implement Ma'aden change and intervention initiatives.
- Drive digitalization within section and maintenance discipline.
- Drive Saudization (recruitment, training and development) within area of responsibility.
- During emergency situations, evaluate the abnormalities and take corrective action as to avoid downtime, equipment damage and/or HSERQ incidents.
- Ensure sensitization to diversity in the workplace.
- Drive Ma'aden Safety Culture Transformation Program.
- Ensure adherence to HSERQ legal standards and implement HSERQ processes for own area of responsibility.
- Writing and reporting.
- Understand customer requirement and ensures product/service meets customer requirements.
- Identify and support inter-dependencies (synergies) with own and other departments within the value chain.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- B.Tech/M.Tech/Bachelors/Masters/PhD of Engineering (Specific discipline) + 3 years as Shift Superintendent.
- Relevant Business Management Qualification (e.g. MBA) preferred.
- 12 Years relevant experience in mining industry.
- International experience preferred.
