About the Job:
Almosafer is looking for Manager SAP BASIS to manage system administration for SAP & related environments.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain the integrity of the SAP environment by managing the SAP Correction and Transport System (CTS) to ensure all configuration and development objects are promoted properly.
- Manage SAP users, authorizations, and profiles.
- Distribute the online SAP user workload, monitor, and manage the SAP background job workload.
- Configure and manage the SAP printing subsystem for all SAP instances.
- Maintain SAP performance by planning and executing SAP tuning strategies.
- Monitor all SAP systems (work processes, users, system logs, short dumps, locks, developer traces, system traces, disk space, etc.)
- Expertise & Knowledge in SAP S/4HANA System Installation, SAP FIORI for S/4HANA Platform Setup, establishing trusted connections from Web Dispatcher to FIORI Gateway - backend system S/4 HANA & System Conversion for SAP S/4HANA.
- Database Upgrade for SAP HANA, Database Upgrade for SAP HANA, SAP FIORI Platform Upgrade, Upgrades of SAP NetWeaver, ABAP & Java Stack Upgrade &System copies and post-processing like BDLS, RFC fix, and other Basis tasks.
- Management of component upgrade and IDOC archiving.
- EWA report execution, analysis, and fixes on reported issues along with Application teams.
- Managing Network Settings like Network subnet, and fine-tuning of MPLS bandwidth.
- SAP PI standard adapter installation, configuration of SAP PI messages archiving, monitoring of table growth & RFC connections of integration systems with S/4HANA.
- STMS - Transport management (transport paths/alerts/add & remove routes/permissions issues), Solman_admin in Solman system setup & charm.
- Patch Mgmt. for SAP NetWeaver
- Administer the SAP database with Database Administrator (plan and perform database upgrades, apply database maintenance, design and maintainphysical database layout, perform database reorganizations, design and implement backup and restore strategy, maintain database security,
- Administer database performance; manage database storage, database problem determination, and resolution, etc.).
- Perform SAP client administration (create client, copy client, delete client, export/import client) as required.
- Participate in the planning and implementation of SAP system upgrades.
- SAPGUI/SAPLGPAD troubleshooting and maintenance/upgrades/installations.
- Technical preparations for SAP S/4HANA Readiness check and ABAP Test Cockpit check
- Perform parameter modification, Buffer, memory management, performance tuning and troubleshoot.
- Perform SAP Licensing Identify inactive user, user classification and prepare System Measurement result for SAP Global Audit team.
- Apply and migrate SAP maintenance (hot packages and kernel upgrades) through all systems using a structured methodology.
- Develop and maintain system documentation for all SAP instances and interfaces.
- Provide status reports for projects to management.
Profile Requirements:
- Fluent in spoken, written English. Knowledge of Arabic would be preferred.
- A University Degree from an internationally recognized institution preferably in the
- fields of Business, Engineering, Computer science, Information systems or similar degree.
- SAP BASIS Implementation and Support experience of 12+ Years.
- Total four or more SAP implementation life cycles leading HCM with minimum two or more
- SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
- Proficient understanding of various SAP deployment options, i.e. Rise with SAP, HEC, GCP, AWS & on prem.
- Well versed in creating technical architecture, system profiles, and managing HANA database.
