Main duties include:
Ensuring that all training given to Amiri Flight personnel complies with local authority and EASA requirements and ensure that staff are adequately trained to maintain competency for their position.
Liaise with different department managers regarding training plans. Prepare and improve training for all jobs within the Technical division where necessary.
Oversee training courses and offers of external training providers which may be acceptable for Amiri Flight staff. Negotiate additional training or discuss course adaptations with such companies to suit Amiri Flight's requirements.
Responsible for the production, distribution and amendment of the Amiri Flight Technical training courses.
Plan, prepare and conduct Amiri Flight internal training course content and related documentation in order to have updated and proper training material according to the latest industrial standards and in accordance with regulating requirements.
Organising and chairing a training review meeting. Set up and maintain a system to develop and create internal publications such as training letters or other staff information to inform all employees in addition to regular training about new technologies, occurrences, improvements, etc.
Fulfil the role of Technical Safety Officer for the Amiri Flight Safety Management Team. Formulate recommendations for Senior Management to implement safety improvement.
Management and monitoring of Qatari Nationals Maintenance Trainees.
Qualifications
Qualification & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Aeronautical discipline or equivalent apprenticeship in Technical Profession or B.Sc. or Part 66 License holder with endorsement of any aircraft.
Minimum 5 years experience in Aviation Technical Training position.
Comprehensive aviation knowledge.
