Key Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
- Chartered Accountant/ CPA
- 5-7 years of experience in Banking, treasury accounting, finance & auditing
- Good understanding of accounting concepts.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Attention to each & every aspect of the transaction in detail.
- Sound knowledge of accounting ERP system (SAP)
- Working knowledge of accounting principles and concepts.
- Knowledge of financial and accounting software applications.
- Ability to partner effectively
Responsibilities:
Supervising the overall Banking Transactions
- To manage to adequate liquidity in system for managing payment commitments
- Manage drawdown of TR/IF/RCF loans and discounting
- Monitoring the interest and bank charges levied by bank
- Manage Fx hedge transactions and maintain adequate records
- Checking of month end Bank Reconciliations
- Check daily TT Remittances, Cheque Payments, etc.
- Daily Fund Report, payments, bills negotiated and discounted, fund planning etc. and capturing of all related information accurately in a structure format
- To check and implement digitalization of payments for effective coordination
- To facilitate smooth processing of documents and LC transactions with banks
- Manage transaction approvals and online banking setup for all banks.
- To monitor existing reports in banking MIS and develop new reports as required by management for analysis and decision making.
Analyzing existing processes in Banking & Treasury which can be automized, work towards digitization of such processes.
- Support in implementation of SAP treasury module.
- Providing banking information required for statutory filing and business requirements.
- Banking relationships like negotiation skills, structured trade finance, etc.
- To keep updated on treasury markets and their implications on our business.
- Involve in timely discussion and getting constructive feedback from the team for smooth work.
- Other ad hoc jobs as and when required to support banking team
Liaising with Relationship Managers and Bank Staff to maintain healthy relationship with banks to get the work done smoothly.
- Liaising with new banks/ existing banks to increase / explore the facilities to support trades.
- Exploring support with banks to discuss Receivables Finance, Export discounting or specific transactions.
- Execution of Banking Facilities and other security and ancillary documents Analysis of Credit Facilities, Term Sheets and Terms & Conditions for Credit facilities.
- Providing the required information to banks for annual credit review and managing bank queries
- Checking covenants and conditions for accepting credit facilities.
- Monitoring and ensuring timely adherence to applicable Covenants
- Monitoring and ensuring timely completion of account KYC, account opening, etc.
- Developing new relationships in newer geographies.
