We are partnered with a revolutionary digital asset exchange platform in the UAE. The ideal candidate will lead all strategic investment banking initiatives, client relationships and bring a high-level understanding of investment banking principles to the business, alongside regulatory frameworks and leveraging upon their strong network within the financial services space.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the company's investment banking strategy, powering digital asset exchange capabilities to offer innovative solutions.
- Take charge of all investment banking transactions such as mergers & acquisitions, capital raising and strategic advisory.
- Build strong positive relationships with institutional investors, PE firms, venture capitalists and wider stakeholders to drive strategic partnerships.
- Oversee all compliance with regulatory requirements, understanding it's impact on investment banking activities for the company.
- Provide high-level strategic guidance and insights to executive management and the board.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including technology, legal, compliance and operations to ensure smooth execution of investment banking transactions.
- Take charge of all business development initiatives to expand the company's market share and enhance their reputation as a leader in digital assets.
- Build and mentor a high-performing team of investment associates, advisors etc., fostering a culture of collaboration.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or Business Administration, MBA is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role within investment banking, fintech or similar.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of investment banking principles, financial markets and regulatory requirements particularly within the UAE, ADGM jurisdiction is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully executing complex investment banking transactions, IPOs and capital raises.
- Strong network and relationships building skills, with ability to influence and negotiate effectively at all levels.
- Driven to thrive in a complex, fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment and a strategic mind-set.
- Ideally based in the UAE or willing to relocate permanently.
