Position: Market Access Specialist

Role Purpose
We are looking for a highly organized, entrepreneurial, and strategic professional who has a demonstrated ability to think critically, manage multiple priorities, and work collaboratively. The role involves enabling the inclusion of the company's products in all relevant health insurance providers in the UAE, Oman, Bahrain & Kuwait. Responsibilities include building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders, advising on preventive action plans, managing health insurance inclusion, and more.
Responsibilities
- Deep understanding of GCC Reimbursement Process and Healthcare system.
- Recognize the unmet needs and gaps in the market and ensure customer value creation.
- Identify accounts pain points and capitalize on the strategic leverage points to accelerate the enlisting process for New Launches in alignment with KAM.
- Tailoring payer value story and ensuring communication of value proposition to all stakeholders.
- Create and ensure implementation of Managed Entry Agreements and value-added programs to maximize formulary enlisting for New Launches.
- Monitor market access trends and develop strategies to capitalize on opportunities.
- Penetrating Insurance companies and develop strategic partnership with insurance stakeholders at the accounts.
- Develop Stakeholder Mapping for insurance companies and strategic accounts with a clear engagement plan.
- Managing challenges and exploring opportunities in Health Insurance reimbursement process.
- Competitive Intelligence and identifying the proper actions for implementation to create value versus competitors.
- Formulate market access plans and customized solutions for new launches to achieve overall company objectives and ensure the implementation of a plan with the cross-functional team for accelerating and maximizing market access.
- Develop segmentation for Jamjoom products to ensure the proper approach for each segment.
- Monitor and analyze market access performance to ensure desired results are achieved.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders.
- Develop, implement, and manage innovative Programs & partnerships with Healthcare-providers, authorities, key stakeholders, and Insurance companies.
- Distinguish access opportunities for Pre and New Launches as part of life cycle management.
- Tracking dynamics and trends in the market and conducts market research for gathering insights about the market to shape business strategy formulation.
- Develop a partnership with clinical pharmacists, health-economics, and pharmacy community at GCC.
- Ensure that the cross-functional team is fully equipped with new guidelines and dynamics in the market.
- Make sure of the alignment, integration, and collaboration of a cross-functional team to confirm the implementation of the unified message to accelerate the enlisting process in alignment with the leadership team's strategies and objectives.
- Creating a unified enlisting process for the whole GCC and ensuring the harmonization between all internal stakeholders.
- Align with the Regulatory team for the proper pricing strategy according to the market intelligence.
Qualifications & Other Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant pharmaceutical/medical studies.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in market access, pricing, or reimbursement within the healthcare industry in Gulf
- Strong knowledge of healthcare policy, market dynamics, and payer landscape.
- Proven track of success in handling previous responsibilities.
- Excellent analytical and strategic planning skills.
- Proficiency in communication, negotiation, and relationship building with key stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; including fluency in English
