Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand global and regional market structure, trends, and customer needs to identify new market opportunities and associated B2B and B2C offerings.
- Implement short-, medium- and long-term market segment development plans to achieve sales targets and margins. Actively contribute by building a strong lead and opportunity pipeline with the respective market segment development plan actions (MSDPAs). Balance short and medium-term MSDPAs with existing B2B and B2Cs, ensuring effective opportunity pipeline conversion.
- Collaborate with the regional market segment teams to streamline regional strategies and ensure overall global alignment.
- Develop MSDPA briefings in close collaboration with Business Units, Application, and Sales, incorporating key commercial and market-relevant elements such as business cases, value propositions, target customers, and applications. Work closely with these teams to support the development of B2C/B2B product portfolios and collaborate with local and global Sales for successful commercialization.
- Drive B2C category development and innovation by defining and implementing market and product concepts that align with consumer needs, integrating these efforts with the B2B ingredient portfolio to create best-in-class solutions. Ensure alignment between Market Segment and Business Unit strategies.
- Customer Engagement & Sales Support:
- Develop relationships with key customers to support lead development and to generate new opportunities in close collaboration with the sales team.
- Ensure sales enablement by providing optimal sales tools incl. presentations and support in customer interactions, internal trainings as well as strategic guidance for the market segment.
- Support in potential, territory and prospect management, identifying key focus customers per region, new prospects and enabling their conversion next to optimal resource allocation. Analyze market and customer potentials to ensure strategic alignments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B Marketing, within the Food & Beverage industry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in French is a plus.
