About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing and Public Relations Manager to setup and lead our marketing and PR efforts across all outlets.

Extensive background in marketing and PR roles within the hospitality sector, with a focus on restaurants and bars. Proficient in driving sales using organic marketing approaches.

Responsabilities

Marketing Strategy & Campaigns:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies for each restaurant and bar.
  • Create and implement promotional campaigns to drive foot traffic and increase revenue.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive positioning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment with business objectives.
  • Work with General Manager and Owner to analyze outlet sales performance and develop strategies for improvement and growth.

Digital Marketing & Social Media Management:

(with the support of social media content creator & freelancers)

  • Manage digital marketing channels, including website, social media platforms, and email campaigns.
  • Create engaging content and visuals to enhance brand presence and customer engagement online.
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to measure campaign effectiveness and optimize strategies.
  • Collaborate with General Manager to integrate outlet-specific promotions and events into digital marketing efforts.

Branding & Collateral Development:

  • Oversee brand identity and messaging across all marketing materials and touchpoints.
  • Develop and maintain brand standards to ensure consistency and quality in branding efforts.
  • Design and produce marketing collateral, including menus, signage, and promotional materials.
  • Coordinate with vendors and agencies to execute branding initiatives and projects.
  • Work closely with General Manager to align branding efforts with outlet-specific goals and initiatives.

Public Relations & Media Relations:

  • Cultivate relationships with media outlets, bloggers, and lifestyle websites to generate positive publicity.
  • Develop and distribute press releases, media kits, and other PR materials to relevant channels.
  • Plan and execute PR events, such as grand openings, press conferences, and media tours.
  • Monitor media coverage and track PR metrics to evaluate effectiveness and ROI.
  • Collaborate with General Manager to leverage PR opportunities for outlet-specific promotions and initiatives.

Event Planning & Community Engagement:

  • Plan and execute events and promotions to drive foot traffic and enhance customer experience.
  • Establish partnerships with local businesses, organizations, and influencers to increase brand visibility.
  • Coordinate community engagement initiatives, such as charity events and local sponsorships.
  • Measure and analyze the impact of events and community engagement efforts on brand awareness and customer loyalty.
  • Collaborate with General Manager to align event strategies with outlet-specific goals and objectives.

Outlets Sales & Performance Improvement:

  • Develop strategies and initiatives to increase sales, enhance profitability, and optimize revenue streams.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market dynamics to stay informed and proactive in driving sales growth.
  • Work closely with General Manager to implement sales improvement plans and track progress against targets.

Qualifications:

  • Hands-On Approach: Demonstrated ability to roll up your sleeves and actively contribute to all aspects of marketing and PR activities. Comfortable taking a hands-on approach to tasks and projects, leading by example within a small team environment.
  • Proven Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in managing marketing and public relations in the hospitality or F&B industry.
  • Multi-Restaurant Management: Demonstrated experience in managing marketing and PR activities for multiple restaurants and bars simultaneously, with a track record of driving growth and brand visibility across diverse outlets.
  • Strategic Thinker: Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to develop and execute comprehensive marketing and PR strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Creative Vision: Creative mindset with a keen eye for design and storytelling, capable of developing engaging content and campaigns to captivate target audiences across various channels.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English, Russian is a plus, with the ability to effectively convey brand messaging and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Media Relations Expertise: Extensive experience in media relations, including building and maintaining relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers to secure positive coverage and publicity.
  • Digital Proficiency: Good understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media management, email marketing, search marketing, and website content.
  • Team Leadership: Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals and objectives.
  • Results-Driven: Results-oriented mindset with a focus on performance metrics and ROI, capable of analyzing data and insights to optimize marketing and PR initiatives for maximum impact.
