Job Summary:
We are looking for a creative and dynamic Marketing Communications Specialist to join our FMCG company in Makkah. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective marketing communication strategies that promote our brand, products, and services. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, creativity, and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy Development:
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing communication plans that align with business objectives.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement brand positioning and messaging strategies.
- Conduct market research to identify target audiences and understand market trends.
- Content Creation and Management:
- Create engaging and persuasive content for various marketing channels, including social media, website, email campaigns, brochures, and press releases.
- Ensure all content is consistent with brand guidelines and enhances the company's image.
- Manage and update the company's website and social media platforms.
- Campaign Management:
- Plan, develop, and execute marketing campaigns to promote products and services.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns, using data to optimize and improve effectiveness.
- Coordinate with external agencies and vendors for the production of marketing materials.
- Public Relations:
- Develop and maintain relationships with media contacts and industry influencers.
- Write and distribute press releases, pitch stories to media outlets, and manage media inquiries.
- Organize and manage press events, product launches, and other promotional activities.
- Internal Communications:
- Develop and implement internal communication strategies to keep employees informed and engaged.
- Create internal newsletters, announcements, and other communication materials.
- Support internal events and initiatives to promote company culture and values.
- Brand Management:
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing communications.
- Monitor brand perception and make recommendations to enhance brand image.
- Conduct regular audits of marketing materials to ensure alignment with brand guidelines.
- Budget Management:
- Manage the marketing communications budget effectively.
- Track expenses and ensure campaigns are delivered within budget.
- Provide regular reports on budget performance to the Marketing Manager.
- Analytics and Reporting:
- Analyze marketing data and metrics to measure campaign performance.
- Prepare and present regular reports on marketing activities and results.
- Use insights to refine marketing strategies and tactics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in marketing communications, preferably in the FMCG industry.
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including social media, email marketing, and content management systems.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Familiarity with SEO and SEM best practices.
- Knowledge of the local market and consumer behavior in Saudi Arabia.
