We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Marketing Executive to join a Regional Legal Services Firm in Dubai. This person will assist in day-to-day marketing activities and support the firm in its marketing and communications efforts. This role requires a versatile individual who can manage multiple projects, including website management, research, event coordination, competitor analysis, and digital marketing initiatives, all while promoting the firm's services, practices, and lawyers.
Key Responsibilities
Profile Raising & PR:
- Research and strategize on opportunities to raise the firm's profile through PR, membership organizations, events, and conferences.
- Draft press releases, pitch story ideas, track published articles, and align social media strategy with key marketing initiatives.
- Manage and coordinate submissions for prestigious awards and league tables, including Chambers Global and Legal 500, ensuring high-quality content and best practices in the submission process.
Marketing & Communications:
- Maintain and update a database of current and target clients and contacts.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of marketing materials, including brochures, pitch templates (RFPs), proposals, and presentations.
- Regularly update the firm's website content and intranet, ensuring it aligns with branding strategies and reflects current activities.
- Manage the CRM system, ensuring accurate tracking of communication and business development opportunities.
- Conduct research on competitors, clients, and market trends to support strategic marketing and business development decisions.
- Generate media pitches, press releases, and content for client alerts, newsletters, and other marketing communications.
- Support business development efforts by creating materials for presentations and proposals, including proofreading, printing, and binding.
Event Management:
- Assist in the coordination of both external and internal events such as client meetings, seminars, conferences, and other promotional activities.
- Support sponsorship and event planning, including developing ad copy, coordinating RSVPs, and managing event logistics with vendors and suppliers.
- Track event costs, manage event budgets, and report on outcomes, ensuring compliance with approval processes.
Communication:
- Ensure effective communication within the team and with external partners, vendors, and suppliers.
- Facilitate internal communication to ensure that staff are informed of key marketing updates and initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field from a reputable university.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably within a law firm, legal department, or professional services firm.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of Arabic is preferred.
- Proficient in MS Office and familiar with digital marketing tools, social media management, and CRM systems.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Detail-oriented, creative, and capable of working independently as well as in a team.
