As Marketing Manager your job purpose to lead strategy, planning and delivery of the Virgin Atlantic plan in KSA market (B2C & B2B) to achieve our brand, customer and commercial outcomes.
In This Role, You Will:
- Be accountable for the creation of impactful & effective demand generating activity plans which are endorsed by the commercial team to deliver the revenue targets across KSA, ensuring we are the airline of choice for the end consumer and our B2B Leisure and Corporate partners.This requires exceptional aptitude for galvanizing resources in market to distill & prioritise our plan to win in KSA.
- You must collaborate effectively across the enterprise ensuring a strategic lense across all communications whilst being able to pivot to day-to-day delivery in line with trading requirements, ensuring best in class delivery across all touchpoints to generate revenue. This requires an ability to influence our teams and partners to implement a clear annual plan across social media, CRM, trade marketing, PR, loyalty comms and digital/e-comm. It also requires the role holder to be adept with multiple data sources, ability to leverage insight to be able to spot opportunities. The role must effectively evaluate ROI across all touchpoints.
- Leads external agencies in the KSA (media & creative) to develop and execute all campaigns. This involves the creation of insight led relevant ideas which can be leveraged and activated in paid, owned and earned channels. Being able to inspire and lead agency teams and partners to deliver world class work is crucial to our success, given we cannot outspend our competitors, we can only outmaneuver with strategic rigor and creative excellence to achieve our outcomes.
- Leads all our B2B communications in KSA ensuring we are the airline of choice with our key trade partners through effective communications and ensuring our sales teams have market leading tools / materials to sell the Virgin Atlantic difference.
- Own the relationship with our local PR agency to ensure we are driving earned reach / coverage.
To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent
- English & Arabic is essential
- Significant experience in brand strategy and campaign delivery across multiple categories including managing large scale brands with complex routes to market.
- Significant experience in the KSA market, broader global experience is an advantage.
- Extensive experience at managing the full marketing mix and diverse range of marketing disciplines from advertising, PR, social, content, digital, sponsorship and B2B.
- Strong strategic thinker, able to demonstrate a customer-centric approach.
- Proven track record growing ROI and marketing effectiveness to grow brand & commercial outcomes.
- Strong digital / social experience across paid & owned channels
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to create robust analysis and meaningful insights to drive actions and highlight opportunities.
- Outstanding written & verbal communications skills (English & Arabic); highly effective at inspiring and influencing.
- Experienced stakeholder manager, able to cohere support easily, influence and engage x functional teams across the enterprise.
- Strong influencing skills, especially with commercial & external partners
- Effective collaborator, able to deliver transformative thinking & break through ideas which inspire others.
