Marketing Specialist
As a seasoned marketing executive within the Asia and Emerging Markets Marketing Team, you will collaborate closely with local sales teams, key stakeholders, and regional marketing specialists to ensure top-notch marketing coverage for demand generation, pipeline influence, and account-based marketing initiatives in the Middle East region. Your contributions will be instrumental in driving our marketing efforts and bolstering our presence in the Middle East market.
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, you will drive marketing plans aligned with local market opportunities, manage seamless execution, and have a significant impact on Thomson Reuters success.
About The Role
In this opportunity as Marketing Specialist, you will:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing plans and campaigns tailored to the legal sector, with a focus on promoting our legal solutions.
- Execute campaigns across all marketing channels, including social media, email newsletters, blogs, events, webinars and website updates, to generate leads and nurture relationships with legal professionals and organizations.
- Coordinate the production of marketing materials, such as case studies, whitepapers, and webinars, to demonstrate the value of our products/services to potential clients.
- Analyze data to help shape future marketing strategies and conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities for growth, providing insights to inform marketing decisions.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams such as sales, product development, and customer success teams to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with business objectives and customer needs.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as budget tracking, vendor management, and invoice processing, to support the smooth operation of the marketing team.
- Stay informed about legal industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies, leveraging knowledge to create relevant and impactful marketing content and campaigns.
About You
You're a fit for the role of Marketing Specialist if your background includes:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field; 2B software and content solutions is preferred or experience in the legal industry.
- Minimum 3+years managing events with significant digital marketing experience in the above, driving uplift in demand and positive customer experience essential.
- Familiarity with the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) legal market landscape and cultural nuances is advantageous.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and reporting platforms, including social media management, email marketing, content management systems, and analytics tools (Eloqua, Salesforce, Workfront, Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Power BI)
- A track record in building a successful campaigns and events
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for exploring new ideas and approaches to marketing within the legal technology space.
- Team player with strong collaboration skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve common goals.
- Fluent in English, Arabic proficiency preferred
