Who We're Looking For:
- Expert knowledge: Comprehensive skills in crafting delicatessen items sausages, cold cuts, meat processing, and understanding production automation.
- Innovation-driven: Experience in driving product innovation and applying automation processes in food manufacturing.
- Extensive butchery experience: Minimum 8 years in the culinary/food manufacturing field, with a strong focus on butchery and sausage production.
- Problem-solving and decision-making: Strong critical thinking skills, able to solve operational challenges and implement continuous improvements.
- Leadership skills: Proven experience leading a team in a production environment, with the ability to motivate, train, and develop staff.
- Food safety expertise: Knowledge of food safety regulations and the ability to maintain compliance in high-volume production settings.
As Our Master Butcher, You'll Be the Heart of Our Operations:
- Product development: Drive innovation in delicatessen and butchery products by collaborating with teams to develop new offerings that meet client demands.
- Lead butchery operations: Supervise meat cutting, trimming, deboning, and grinding to meet product specifications and quality standards.
- Team leadership: Manage and train a talented team of butchers and meat cutters, ensuring safe and efficient workflows, and maintaining high-quality output.
- Quality assurance: Perform routine quality checks, yield testing, and manage product quality deviations to maintain high standards.
- Cost and inventory management: Control food, labor, and production costs, ensuring efficient resource use and maintaining optimal inventory levels.
- Safety and compliance: Enforce health, safety, and hygiene regulations, ensuring full compliance with both local and international food safety standards.
Qualifications We're Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management or a related culinary discipline.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years in a butchery-focused role, with experience in food manufacturing, automation, and Lean Management.
- Skills: Expertise in crafting high-quality meats, sausages, and delicatessen items, with strong organizational and training abilities.
