Purpose:
The MDM Head is responsible for overseeing the creation, governance, and maintenance of master data within the Oracle Fusion ERP system, including items, customers, suppliers, and employees. This role ensures data quality, integrity, and consistency across the organization and supports strategic decision-making through reliable master data management
Responsibility:
- Lead and manage the MDM department, ensuring smooth and efficient operation of master data processes.
- Define and enforce policies and procedures for master data creation, governance, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with different departments (procurement, HR, finance, etc.) to ensure accurate and timely creation and modification of master data in the system.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess data quality and performance of MDM processes.
- Ensure compliance with Oracle Fusion ERP master data standards and best practices.
- Coordinate with the IT department for system upgrades, integrations, and any ERP-related changes affecting master data.
- Manage and mentor the MDM team, providing guidance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Knowledge and Experience:
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in data management, with at least 2-3 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP or other ERP systems.
- Proven experience in master data governance, management, and lifecycle processes.
- Excellent leadership and project management skills.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Education and Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Information Systems, or a related field.
