Job Overview:
The Materials Administrator has established material management to perform various day-to-day activities. The Materials Administrator can recognize and solve typical supply chain problems with limited supervisory approval. They are tasked with evaluating and selecting solutions from established options. Their work directly impacts their team through the quality of the services or information provided.
Responsibilities
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Liase with cross functional Teams
- Complete Receiving activities, reconciling quantity abnormalities and non-conforming items, called Overs, Shortages and Damages
- Perform Data Entry into the Material Management System (Smart Materials)
- Perform Material Mangement activities, including Inventory Control, Allocation and Material Matching
- Understand and consistently use Material Management procedures as established in company policies
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications & Education:
- Associate's Degree/Foundation (or equivalent) in relevant discipline or HSD/GED/IGCSE OR 2 years of relevant experience
- 0-3 years relevant Experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Organized and disciplined individuals with well-developed communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills are required to deal effectively with operational management throughout the organization
- Demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and ability to learn new topics and technology quickly
- Material Management experience proffered
- Strong understanding of the Materials Management end-to-end process
