The Role
Zenith operates internationally with a focus on the GCC region. Having established itself as a premium solution provider in the homeland security marketplace, spanning the physical security & OSINT/ Broadcast spheres Zenith's in house software and hardware development capability have seen the creation of profitable and scalable technology solutions for sale into the regional and global market ranging from Zenith's advanced fixed and mobile intelligent patrol solutions, including the latest world's first A EagleEye Intelligent Patrol, to Zenith's Media Monitoring System (MMS)- AI analytical platforms for Open Source Intelligence monitoring and data fusion for homeland security.
To support our growth and expansion in the Middle East region Zenith is recruiting a high caliber Head of Regional Sales to help drive the execution of the business strategy and develop and manage a sale's pipeline. Reporting into the CEO this is a position that requires an individual with extensive experience on the ground in the GCC and specifically with demonstratable experience with the MOI in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The candidate must speak both Arabic and English fluently and have a high level of drive and motivation along with the ability to employ, drive and motivate a highly skilled team of individuals over time.
The individual will have a sales and strategy background in the security technology sector- in the homeland security and law enforcement market. Physical security, Big Data Software sale backgrounds are required with proven experience in managing the growth of a successful organisation and the implementation of a sales strategy and the systems and people required to support the growth.
Experience in a multi-national organisation or highly successful smaller players operating in the Homeland Security market would provide a good background to suit the challenges of the role.
Educated to Master's level in a Business or Engineering capacity with internationally recognized MBA candidates preferred.
Essential Requirements:
The successful candidate must be bi-lingual (English and Arabic) have higher relevant education, as an executive MBA and have had senior sales management experience with a multi-national responsible for the growth of a division operating with relative autonomy in the region, or running a successful start-up or existing business that has seen high growth in a niche sector. Ideally from a background selling into government and homeland security markets, they will have a deep understanding of the dynamics of the region and an existing relationship with key players both customers, influencers and suppliers. A strong sales background is a must as is the ability to communicate and negotiate at senior levels of government and with large multi-layered contracts.
Minimum 10 years experience in senior sales role to government relative to security systems with minimum of 5 years experience in the GCC region
Strong experience in homeland security or tech sector and knowledge of regional market dynamics.
Ability to point to specific examples of having led organizational growth and market expansion in the GCCregion.

Key Functions and Requirements
The role is a senior position and critical to the success of the organization's growth in the MEA region. The candidate will be required to develop a sales pipeline and close projects with multimillion-dollar budgets.
Demonstrating a high level of technical expertise, the role requires someone with an extensive network across the key accounts in the region with a special focus on the KSA marketplace and the Ministry of Interior in particular and the ability to manage a complex sales process across all levels of the customer including C level executives and senior government management.
Working via highly qualified channel partners from IT System Integrator and Physical Security System Integrator backgrounds you will have a good knowledge of the key players in the MEA region and existing relationships that you can leverage immediately.
Strategic Selling With a focus on complex relationships and strategic selling the role requires the highest level of capability in navigating and influencing the sales process across all levels of the customer and the decision-making process.
Pipeline and Revenue Develop and manage through to closure a pipeline of high-value projects with the ability to identify and create opportunity. Must have demonstrated multimillion dollar deal closure from opportunity identification through to closure. Experience in use of various platforms for reporting.
Technology Background a deep understanding of technology and the ability to communicate to technical users and to operational users. Understanding of physical security technology and OSINT/Cyber Security is highly desirable.
Territory and Account Planning Analytical and commercially driven sales territory and key account planning capability. Able to clearly articulate and deliver on strategic and tactical sales plans for revenue generation.
Government Sales Must have extensive understanding of MEA Government procurement and decision-making processes.
Relationships Must have extensive high-level relationships across the MEA homeland security / law enforcement sector with the ability to operate at the highest level of management.
Presentation Skills Must be able to demonstrate effective presentation skills with excellent English and Arabic. High capability in Microsoft Office applications.
Bid Management Extensive experience in bid management including proposal preparation, contract negotiation and pricing.
Contract& Commercial Negotiation Must have experience in negotiating contracts for multimillion-dollar projects.Be able to demonstrate strong commercial acumen and ability to fully understand and negotiate pricing and commercial terms.
Excellent Communicator Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic; a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent public speaking skills able to communicate effectively and build relationships at senior levels.
