Our client, a prominent player in the heavy machinery sector, is looking for an experienced Mechanic to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of heavy equipment, ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment,including various types of Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs) and their components. This includes Boom Lifts, Scissor Lifts, Telehandlers, Spider Lifts, Forklifts, and Truck-Mounted Lifts.
  
• Diagnose mechanical and hydraulic issues using appropriate tools and techniques.
  
• Conduct inspections and tests to assess equipment performance and safety.
  
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs, maintenance work, and inspections.
  
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues.
  
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures while working on equipment.
  
• Provide guidance and support to junior mechanics as needed.
  
  

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  
• Proven 5 years experience withAerial Work Platforms (AWPs)andMobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs), including Boom Lifts, Scissor Lifts, Telehandlers, Spider Lifts, Forklifts and Truck-Mounted Lifts.
  
• Experience with brands such as Komatsu, JLG, Haulotte, Genie, Palazzani, Comet and other relevant brands.
  
• Candidates currently based in the UAE,KSA and Qatar who are available for a face-to-face interview.
  
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and familiarity with hydraulic systems.
  
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment.
  
• Knowledge of safety standards in heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
  
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  
• Flexibility to adapt to changing work schedules and additional hours.
  
• Willingness to travel as required.
  
• Valid UAE, KSA and Qatar driving license is preferred.
