Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks on internal combustion engine vehicles, such as oil changes and brake inspections.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in electric vehicles, including battery systems and charging systems.
- Perform comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify potential problems and provide recommendations for repairs.
- Utilize diagnostic equipment and specialized tools to troubleshoot and repair vehicle systems effectively.
- Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed on vehicles.
- Stay informed about the latest automotive technologies and industry developments related to electric vehicles.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational or technical training program preferred.
- Proven experience as a Mechanic Technician, with expertise in both traditional and electric vehicle systems.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- ASE certification or equivalent preferred.
- Experience with EV-specific diagnostic tools and software is a plus.
