Responsibilities
- Create detailed 3D Building Information Models (BIM) of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems using industry-standard software
- Perform clash detection and resolution to identify and rectify conflicts between mechanical systems and other building components.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and team leader.
- Generate accurate and up-to-date construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
- Develop/update parametric families for mechanical components.
- Maintain organized and structured BIM data libraries and ensure the accuracy of model information.
- Stay up to date with UAE national codes and standards related to mechanical systems and ensure compliance in BIM models.
Qualification
- Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in BIM modelling
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and their integration into building design.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
