Job Title: Mechanical Draftsman- Salary: AED 6,000 - AED 8,000
The Mechanical Draftsman will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings, layouts, and plans for industrial projects, with a focus on trailers and piping and tank storage. The role requires expertise in 3D modeling and drafting, ensuring that all designs meet industry standards and project specifications.
Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings for process trailers and various types of tankers.- Develop layouts, sections, and isometric drawings as required for project specifications.
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and create accurate designs.
- Ensure that all piping designs adhere to industry standards, codes, and client specifications.
Develop 3D models of industrial equipment, tanks, and piping systems using CAD software.- Create realistic renderings and walkthroughs for client presentations and project approvals.
Coordinate with other disciplines (civil, electrical, etc.) to integrate piping systems into overall project designs.
- Prepare and maintain documentation for all designs, including revisions, as-built drawings, and project archives.
Ensure all drawings are up to date and reflect the latest project changes and modifications.- Assist in the preparation of material take-offs, bill of materials (BOM), and other project documentation.
Work closely with project teams to provide technical support during the design and construction phases.
- Participate in design reviews, site visits, and client meetings as required.
Provide input on design improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
- Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 to 8 years trailer manufacturing industry- GCC experience mandatory.
Proven expertise in 3D modeling and drafting for tankers and other complex industrial facilities.
