Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage mechanical engineering aspects of substation projects from design to completion.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring adherence to timelines and cost constraints.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including electrical, civil, and HSE engineers, to ensure seamless project integration.
- Oversee and review detailed mechanical engineering designs and drawings for substation systems, including cooling systems, HVAC, fire protection, and plumbing.
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, regulations, and client specifications.
- Collaborate with design teams to optimize solutions for efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems in substations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 5 years focused on substation projects.
- In-depth knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, practices, and standards.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and other relevant tools.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to substation projects.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale mechanical projects.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
