Job Description:We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our dynamic team at our company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical fitting and assembly, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to safety and quality.
Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical systems and equipment.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and mechanical systems.- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to ensure minimal downtime.
Collaborate with the engineering team to improve machinery performance and efficiency.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and parts used.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Mechanical Fitter or in a similar role.Education:
Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting or related field. Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
Proficient in the use of hand and power tools.- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills.
