Mechanical Site Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a Mechanical Site Engineer with strong site execution experience in HVAC, Plumbing, and Firefighting systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating mechanical installation works on-site, ensuring that all activities are executed according to approved drawings, project specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and follow up the execution of mechanical works on-site, including:
• HVAC systems
• Plumbing and drainage systems
• Firefighting systems
• Ensure all mechanical installations are executed according to approved shop drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Manage and supervise subcontractors, technicians, and site labor.
• Monitor daily site activities and ensure work progress is aligned with the approved construction schedule.
• Coordinate mechanical works with Civil, Architectural, Electrical, and other MEP disciplines to avoid clashes and site conflicts.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure the quality of installation works.
• Ensure availability of required materials, equipment, tools, and manpower for site execution.
• Follow up material delivery and installation activities according to project priorities.
• Identify and resolve site execution issues in coordination with the Mechanical/MEP Manager.
• Follow up inspections with consultants and ensure completion of required corrective actions.
• Supervise testing, flushing, pressure testing, commissioning, and handover activities for mechanical systems.
• Ensure compliance with HSE and site safety requirements during mechanical installation activities.
• Prepare daily/weekly site progress updates and report any delays or obstacles affecting execution.
• Ensure proper installation and coordination of mechanical equipment, piping, ductwork, pumps, valves, and related systems.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
2. 3–7 years of experience in mechanical site execution within construction projects.
3. Strong practical experience in HVAC, Plumbing, and Firefighting systems.
4. Proven experience in site execution and supervision.
5. Good understanding of mechanical drawings, specifications, and installation requirements.
6. Strong knowledge of construction site procedures, inspections, testing, and commissioning.
