Job Purpose: To supervise day-to-day site work, follow up on all contractor and sub-contractor performance till the end of the project to ensure the project design is applied correctly on time, with safety and quality standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Study zone drawings in order to prepare Material, Equipment, and Man-hours requirements list based on project priorities and time schedule.
- Audit & supervise sub-contractors team performance, guide and report any problems to Site Manager in order to take necessary actions.
- Supervise the team in the responsible area to perform the required job efficiency by allocating material & manpower.
- Handle day-to-day site issues, including supervising and auditing the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors.
- Coordinate with Quality Control Department schedule of inspections/tests and take any corrective action if required.
- Prepare daily status report to present zone performance and obstacles that need to be solved.
- Supervise sub-contractor and laborers to ensure all safety & quality requirements are applied in all site activities.
- Review labor's productivity rates to ensure that it is within the budget.
- Coordinate with other trades to push the work progress & solve any related problems.
- Coordinate with the technical office to ensure the right implementation of the shop drawings on site.
- Audit the processes of gathering data, compile reports, and deliver presentations to relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure that the employee is working according to the company HSE policies and regulations, and fully aware of his job risk assessment and environmental aspects.
Minimum Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education/Qualifications: Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering
- Work Experience: 7-9 years experience in a related field
- Language: Good command of the English language
- Computer Skills: Microsoft Office and AutoCAD (preferable)
