Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Technician with 5-8 years of experience in farming to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong mechanical background with hands-on experience in maintaining and repairing farm equipment.
Responsibilities
- A skilled Mechanical Technicians with expertise in agricultural machinery.
- The role involves maintaining and repairing a variety of agricultural equipment to ensure efficient operations in the Abdali Agricultural Area.
- -5 years in maintenance of farming equipment, heavy equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues and provide solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs.
- Ensure that all equipment is up to date with safety standards.
- Communicate with the farm manager to ensure equipment is available when needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the farm manager.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in mechanical maintenance and repair on farming equipment.
- Diploma or degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- In-depth knowledge of farming equipment and machinery including tractors, harvesters, and irrigation systems.
- Experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical problems.
- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- Valid driver's license.
