Job Title :- Sales Manager - Veterinary
Reporting to :- General Manager
Team Size :- 1 to 3 (Sales Executives)
Territory :- Covers entire UAE
Job Objective :- Responsible for managing the business of an assigned Line by marketing and selling products to meet or exceed sales objectives for that line within territory covers UAE.
Key Responsibilities/Duties :-
- Services existing accounts, obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
- Support to the Sales team to ensure the achievement of the annual Veterinary Sales objectives.
- Contribute to the retention of existing business by maintaining and seeking to improve after-sales customer satisfaction.
- Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor.
- Contribute to the development of new business opportunities by undertaking product related marketing and sales-linked activities.
- Focuses sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers.
- Contribute to the development of new business opportunities by undertaking product related marketing and sales-linked activities.
- Contribute to the development of the veterinary business by advising and developing of the portfolio.
- Assist in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
- Submits orders by referring to price lists and product literature.
- Keeps management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses.
- Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.
- Recommends changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments.
- Ensure collections of trade receivables as per agreed commercial terms with customer and monthly aging target report.
- Resolves customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Provides historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Liaise effectively with other internal departments and use available expertise to assist in developing the business.
- Undertake other duties and responsibilities as may be reasonably required e.g., attendance at overseas meetings, training and events as directed.
- Follow and maintain company and team objectives and KPIs.
- Adhere to required Health & Safety, and Quality procedures.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
Ability & Skills :-
- Good presentation skills and ability to communicate in English, Arabic is an advantage.
- Motivation to develop sales.
- Excellent presentation, listening and negotiation skills.
- Excellent product knowledge of Company Veterinary products.
- Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches, presentations and closing deals.
- Possess a valid UAE driver's license.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Experience :- Minimum 5-7 years veterinary sales experience UAE or GCC market in Poultry Farms, Camel Farms, Horse Stables, Animal Farms, Pets, Palaces, Government Institutions, Hospitals, Clinics, Pharmacies etc.
Educational Qualifications :- University degree in Veterinary medicine, Veterinary Nursing or Animal science
