Member Experience Assistant is an important team member who not only helps facilitate the Member Experience program but also lends supports to other departments throughout the club. They help curate meaningful and memorable moments, are ambassadors for the Club and the region. The Member Experience Assistant spends almost all their time in a Member-and-guest-facing-capacity. They are friendly, caring, and quick to jump in to help not only Members and guests but also their fellow team members.
Responsibilities
- Assist with coordination and execution of Member and guest visits, including setting up special extras, sharing details of Members and guests, assisting with check-in/orientation tours, planning activities, and finding surprise wow moments for each day on property
- Warmly welcome Members and guests to the Club
- Develop a deep knowledge of Club amenities, activities and offerings, and promote to help drive attendance and utilization
- Relay/update information for Member profiles and ensure that all team members are brief on profiles and Show Me You Know Me profiles.
- Take photos and videos, when designated, for use in Member and guest printed books, digital visit recaps, and more
- Assist with creating and executing daily special moments at the Club, including National Days (like National PBJ day or National Rubber Ducky Day) and surprise elements
- Assist other departments with amenity and offering staging, cleanup, general maintenance and other tasks
- Ensure the standards across property are properly maintained
- Contribute to/complete the Daily Member Experience report, detailing interactions, Member and guest feedback, and Member and guest attendance of activations and events
- Undertake ad hoc tasks as they arise, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to contribute to the smooth operation of daily activities.
- Support in conducting research and contribute insights on potential new vendors or activation ideas
Skills, Qualifications & Requirements
- Outgoing and engaging, able to connect with people who have diverse backgrounds and personalities
- Genuinely interested in other people and in learning more about them
- Adaptable and able to quickly move between different tasks
- Willing to assist in all tasks presented, including the moving, staging and cleaning of areas and items
- Comfortable working with children and teens
- Strong attention to detail when performing tasks
- Comfortable participating in outdoor activities, including hiking, biking and more
- Comfortable working in diverse and outdoor settings, sometimes in varying weather conditions
- Eager to assist other departments as necessary
- Experience in hospitality/events is beneficial
- Functions well in a team environment
- Treats team members with respect and professionalism at all times
- Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times
- Ability to remain flexible and patient when communicating with Members, guests and team members
- Flexible with scheduling, including work nights, weekends, public holidays and overtime
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to spend long hours on your feet
- Ability to lift and carry 30lbs
