MEP Tendering and Procurement Engineer

We are looking for a motivated and results-oriented MEP Tendering and Procurement Engineer to join our growing team. In this position, you will play a vital role in securing the best materials and equipment for our projects, while staying within budget and timelines. You will also be responsible for preparing technical and commercial bids/proposals for projects.

Main Responsibilities:

* Participate in the development of MEP project procurement plans

* Prepare and issue Requests for Quotation (RFQs) to qualified MEP vendors and subcontractors

* Evaluate and compare technical and commercial proposals from suppliers, ensuring alignment with project specifications and best value

* Negotiate contracts with suppliers to achieve optimal pricing, delivery terms, and quality standards

* Process purchase orders and manage supplier relationships throughout the project lifecycle

* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all procurement activities

* Manage the tendering process, ensuring compliance with company procedures and industry best practices

* Prepare technical & commercial proposals

* Manage associated cost preparation responsibilities

* Manage and keep effective communication with clients as required

* Be familiar with the general specifications and market requirements

* Work collaboratively with project engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution

Minimum Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

* 5 years of experience in related roles within Saudi Arabia

* Strong understanding of MEP systems and components

* Proven experience in evaluating and selecting MEP suppliers

* Capable of utilizing common Microsoft Office software (word, excel, powerpoint, etc)

* Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills

* Strong English language proficiency
