The Garment Merchandiser plays a crucial role in the fashion industry, responsible for managing the production process and ensuring the successful delivery of garments to customers. They collaborate closely with suppliers, designers, and production teams to meet customer demands while adhering to quality standards and timelines.
Responsibilities
- Develop internal documents and documentation cycle.
- Check the samples before shipping it to the customer.
- Working on critical path and delivery schedule sheets(updating orders,styles,quantities,dates)
- Attending scheduling and planning meetings.
- Provide a quarterly report to the senior account manager.
- Fulfill and send order confirmation to the customer of which is responsible.
- Carry on correspondence with customer.
- Act as interface between customer and production through planning.
- Obtain customer& orders assuring a convenient feeding for factories and production.
- Transfer to technical area any customers feedback regarding quality and service.
- Making pricing for the new styles.
- Follow up orders shipments.
- Receiving the samples orders from customers and follow up with the factory.
- Gets full BOM clarifications and passes it to the material planning team.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Business administration or any related field
- 1-3 years of experience in the same field.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Very good in the Microsoft Office package.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Task-oriented and problem-solving skills.
