JOB PURPOSE:
The Merchandiser is responsible for the replenishment of the goods and the implementation of the displays on the stands as per brands guidelines.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Merchandising:
- Perform shelf replenishment to avoid shortages at the clients.
- Implement and monitor pre-assigned displays as per the yearly contract to increase products visibility and sales.
- Monitor shelf prices, products positioning, damaged items, and expired items to ensure they are providing the customers with the best image of the company's products and brands.
- Implement the approved call cycle to better serve clients and respond to their needs.
- Apply the necessary marketing tools such as shelf talkers, danglers, wobblers, and shelf inserts, to increase product visibility and product knowledge.
- Implement the in-store marketing activities such as promo areas, pyramids, and gondola end order tomeet the sales and marketing objectives.
Reports and Market Feedback:
- Prepare daily and weekly reports including photos from the field follow-up on the client's product to ensure adequate workflow, as well as competitors new promotions to be able to benchmark and gain a competitive advantage.
- Gather information on competitors prices from the market to formulate pricing strategy at the level of management.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- Technical or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or any related field.
- 0-3 years of relevant experience. Experience in FMCG is a plus.
- Good English and Arabic. French is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Motorized.
