PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
You are responsible to provide a positive customer service experience in the Furniture Pick-Up area to strengthen IKEA's position as the best home furnishing store.
Responsibilities:
Attend the briefing meetings and understand the requested tasks
Help in filling the shopping tools all over the store
Check and verify customer orders to ensure the contents of the order are accurate and paid for
Check orders received from the warehouse for accuracy and damages, ensuring customer gets proper merchandise
Obtain proper signatures as and if required
Use available resources to educate yourself on product features, services and customer interaction skills
Follow up on items kept in the goods hand-out area, if not collected within 24 hours, follow-up with the customer by telephone
Follow-up with TNT on items to be handed over
Receive items from logistics / checking of items / handing over of items to the customer
Record the released items as per procedures and routines
Maintain the full serve area and ensure the area is clean, organized and presentable
Report to customer service supervisor the nil items (missing in location items)
