Position Summary: The M&A Senior Associate will play a critical role in executing mergers and acquisitions to support our strategic growth objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of financial analysis, deal structuring, and due diligence processes. The successful candidate will work closely with senior management, investment teams, and external advisors to drive transaction processes and support post-merger integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end M&A process, including initial assessment, due diligence, negotiation, and closing
- Coordinate with internal teams and external advisors (legal, financial, and technical) to ensure thorough due diligence and seamless execution
- Develop and present transaction proposals to senior management and investment committees
- Assist in structuring deal terms and negotiating agreements
- Collaborate with legal teams to draft and review transaction documentation
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Support post-merger integration efforts to ensure smooth transition and realization of synergies
- Monitor and report on the performance of acquired companies post-acquisition
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investment partners, advisors, and target company management teams
- Communicate effectively with senior management and other relevant parties throughout the transaction process
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred
- 5+ years of experience in M&A, investment banking, private equity, or a related field
- Background in a Big 4 firm is a significant advantage
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
- Excellent understanding of valuation techniques, financial statements, and corporate finance principles
- Proven track record in managing and executing M&A transactions
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Arabic is a hard requirement
