.We need to hire some operators for 100-150 ton mobile crane. Basic requirement:
- 3 years experience with mobile crane and minimum 1 year with 100 ton and above.
- An understanding of how to use and maintain machines and tools
- Good team working skills: know how to work with teams, including other construction stuff, riggers, lifting supervisors and all involved personnel.
- Patience and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations
- Attention to details. Understand how to carry out the daily inspection according to check list, and understand the basic content of check list.
- Good spatial awareness.
Job Role of the crane operator:
- Conducting machine safety checks each day
- Setting up cranes and operating them
- Moving material around site according to a plan or schedule
- Monitoring crane stability and load weights
- Working with a banksman to ensure site safety
- Making minor repairs to machinery
- Reporting any issues to the supervisor
- Keeping records of the materials youve moved/ keep the timesheet signed by client on daily basis or job basis
- Ensuring that travel routes are clear
- Working on-site, in noisy conditions
