Design and Develop Molds: Create detailed mold designs based on product specifications and manufacturing requirements.
Review and Optimize Designs: Conduct design reviews and make necessary modifications to improve mold performance and efficiency.
Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to ensure the molds meet all necessary standards and requirements.
Maintain Documentation: Keep detailed records of designs.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering. additional certifications or coursework in mold design, CAD/CAM software
Years of Experience: 6-9 years of experience in mold design/manufacturing.
Proficiency in CAD/CAM Software: Expertise in software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD or similar for designing molds.
Knowledge of Manufacturing: Understanding manufacturing requirements processes for all parts associated in the designs and application
Project Management: Experience managing design projects from concept to completion, including coordinating with cross-functional teams.
Problem-Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve design and manufacturing issues.
