Mortgage Loan Officer

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate new mortgage leads and seek prospective clients through networking, referrals, and community engagement.
• Educate clients on various mortgage options, terms, and interest rates, helping them select the best mortgage solution.
• Guide clients on loan requirements, documentation, and the application process, ensuring they understand each step.
• Collect and verify necessary documents for loan applications, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Submit applications to the underwriting team and follow up on loan status, keeping clients updated throughout the process.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners, including real estate agents, to expedite the loan closing process.
• Ensure compliance with the organization's policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards in all loan activities.
• Keep abreast of changes in the mortgage industry, including rates, regulations, and housing market trends.
• Prepare regular sales activity and pipeline reports, sharing insights and suggesting mortgage product or process improvements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in banking and financial services sales.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency in loan origination systems and CRM software.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage products, and financial regulations.
• Familiarity with banking and financial software.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and customer-focused.
• Greater Cairo resident.
