Job Purpose:
The Motion Graphic Designer is responsible for managing all design projects from concept to delivery, creating original artwork and guiding the work of the role's direct report.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create overall layout and design for print and electronic media in adherence to brand guidelines.
- Design and produce materials both digital and print including signage, brochures, web pages, social media, motion graphics, video editing, display advertisements and more.
- Designing digital assets, testing them, and optimizing them based on their performance.
- Participate in design discussions and give feedback during planning and strategy meetings
- Quickly translate ideas into sketches, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes
- Test assets and optimize based on their performance
- Iterate new designs based on user feedback
- Create digital assets (static and video) for a range of platforms (social, display advertising, websites, mobile apps, etc.)
- Create logos and brand guidelines, print assets, website assets, social media assets, animations and email designs
- Staying up to date on industry trends and the latest digital design software.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A portfolio that demonstrates passion for design and shows stylistic breath, attention to detail, and usability
- Proficiency in: Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere), Animations and motion graphics & Figma
- 5+ years experience in motion graphics design
- Extensive work experience as a Motion Graphics Designer or Art Director at an agency or brand
- Fluent in English (Arabic an advantage)

- A self-starter attitude with an ability to deliver relevant and impactful designs under time pressure
- Ability to communicate well with team members and articulate rationale for design decisions
- Ability to manage a broad range of projects at once and meet deadlines
- Ability to translate business goals into innovative, meaningful, and differentiated digital, interactive, social, and viral brand experiences
- A pulse on what is relevant in culture, design, and technology, and can push for and help set trends
