Who we're looking for:
We are seeking a Motion Graphics Designer will be responsible for the conceptualization and production of video assets tied to marketing campaigns.
What you'll be doing:
- Work with creative teams, producers and studio manager to create an array of motion graphic video content and overlays for use by clients across multiple platforms, including but not limited to digital video content, brand films, and social media.
- Work will include 2D motion graphics and animation, knowledge of 3D animation a plus.
- Basic audio editing, effects and music selection may be needed.
- Follow creative direction and art direction responsibly and effectively.
- Clearly and confidently articulate thoughts, conceptualize approaches, ideas and solutions based on your knowledge, design skill and graphical expertise.
- Uphold graphic aesthetic and integrity of original design while producing a high volume of new assets.
- Participate on any project or team to which assigned.
- Provide pre-production designs for pitching, including style frames, storyboards, and mood boards
- Adaptation of campaign assets including retouching, logo and artwork preparation, illustrating, coloring, grading, rotoscoping, and tracking footage
- Re-versioning existing campaigns to ensure that new elements match provided footage and seamlessly compositing together in accordance with creative direction
- Export and delivering appropriate files to provided specifications
What you'll need:
- 2+ years of motion graphics design experience
- Online portfolio or showreel is a must
- Advanced experience with Adobe After Effects (Creative Cloud); proficiency in Adobe Photoshop; demonstrated understanding of 3D programs like Maya or Cinema 4D is a plus
- Advanced knowledge of animation principles and a good eye for exciting and creative effects
- Understanding of design principles such as composition, color theory, typography, visual hierarchy, and more
- Attentive to feedback and able to quickly iterate on projects in a manner that successfully addresses creative direction
- Great teammate with a desire to place focus on the success of the team versus individual
