Motorcycle Mechanic Helper

Job Summary:

We are looking for a diligent and eager-to-learn Motorcycle Mechanic Helper to assist our team of experienced mechanics in Dubai, UAE. The ideal candidate will support various repair and maintenance tasks, gaining hands-on experience in motorcycle mechanics with a focus on Chinese brand bikes.

• Key Responsibilities:

• Assisting Mechanics:

Support mechanics in diagnosing and repairing motorcycles, including tasks such as disassembling and reassembling parts, holding tools, and providing general assistance during repairs.

• Assist in routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire replacements, and brake checks.

Tools and Equipment:

• Prepare and organize tools and parts required for repairs.

Clean and maintain workshop tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.

Workshop Maintenance: Keep the workshop clean, organized, and safe, ensuring that all hazardous materials are handled properly.

• Dispose of waste materials according to safety and environmental guidelines.

Inventory Management:

• Assist in tracking inventory levels of parts and supplies.

Help in ordering and restocking parts as needed.

• Customer Interaction:

Support customer service by moving motorcycles within the workshop or to the customer pick-up area.

• Occasionally assist with explaining basic maintenance tips to customers under the supervision of a senior mechanic.

Learning and Development:

• Learn and develop mechanical skills under the guidance of experienced mechanics.

Participate in training sessions and workshops to improve technical knowledge and skills.

• Qualifications and Skills:

Experience:

• Previous experience in a workshop environment is a plus but not mandatory. Willingness to learn is essential.

Technical Knowledge:

• Basic understanding of motorcycle mechanics is an advantage.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and working in various positions.

Skills:

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

• Basic knowledge of using hand and power tools.

Language:

• Proficiency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus.
