VAC Systems Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team in Riyadh, KSA. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing multiple Operations and Maintenance (O&M) contractors on a large-scale transportation project. As an HVAC SME, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective operation of HVAC systems within the project scope.
Responsibilities
Technical Oversight:
- Provide subject matter expertise in HVAC systems to oversee the work of O&M contractors.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
- Documentation Review:
- Review and analyze technical documents, drawings, and specifications related to HVAC systems.
- Ensure that all O&M contractors submissions meet the project's quality and safety requirements.
Problem Resolution
- Act as a technical escalation point for HVAC-related issues, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Collaborate with O&M contractors to address and resolve any mechanical or operational challenges.
Quality Assurance
- Implement and maintain quality assurance processes for HVAC systems across the project.
- Monitor and assess the performance of O&M contractors, identifying areas for improvement.
Communication
- Foster effective communication channels with O&M contractors, project managers, and other stakeholders.
- Prepare and deliver technical reports and presentations on HVAC system performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization or extensive experience in HVAC systems.
- Proven experience as an HVAC Systems Subject Matter Expert in a project management or consulting environment.
- Familiarity with transportation projects or similar large-scale building systems is highly desirable.
