Job duties and responsibilities- Installing indoor and outdoor units of Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) systems according to manufacturer specifications.
Connecting refrigerant lines and electrical wiring between indoor and outdoor units.- Testing and verifying proper system function after installation.
Programming and configuring control systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Regularly inspecting VRF systems to identify potential issues or maintenance needs.
Cleaning and replacing air filters, as well as checking for refrigerant leaks.- Lubricating moving parts and ensuring proper airflow for efficient operation.
Diagnosing and troubleshooting problems in VRF systems, such as inadequate cooling or heating, abnormal noises, or system malfunctions.
- Repairing or replacing faulty components, including compressors, valves, sensors, and controllers.
Performing leak detection and repairing refrigerant leaks while adhering to environmental regulations.- Installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems.
Performing regular maintenance tasks such as cleaning filters, lubricating moving parts, and inspecting components for wear.
- Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems, including wiring, switches, outlets, and lighting fixtures.
Ensuring proper distribution of electrical power throughout the building.- Balancing loads and addressing power quality issues.
Following electrical codes and safety standards to ensure safe installations and repairs.
- Installing and maintaining water supply systems, including pipes, pumps, and fixtures.
Ensuring proper drainage and sewage systems to prevent blockages.- Identifying and repairing leaks, blockages, and other plumbing issues.
Installing and maintaining water heaters, both traditional and tankless.
- Ensuring efficient water heating and distribution.
Developing and implementing preventive maintenance plans to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably.
- Job qualifications/requirements
Minimum 3 years of proven experience working in a similar position in UAE.- Preferably candidates with a qualification in ITI.
Knowledge of Variable Refringent Flow (VRF) and Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) functions.
