About the Job
An opportunity has risen at Saadiyat Beach Club for Multi-Technician - F&B Kitchen. To produce a consistent, high-quality product. To supervise and ensure courteous, professional, efficient, and flexible service consistent with the Company's Standards Policies & Procedures to maximize guest satisfaction.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
Routine Maintenance & Repairs:
- Performing regular maintenance tasks on kitchen equipment to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- Prepare SOP, conduct regular PPM and ensure that all equipment's are properly calibrated, functioning according to the manufacturer's recommendation & specifications.
- In-depth repair knowledge, Install/Setting up kitchen equipment such as ovens, fryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, food processors including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing worn-out parts for regular operation & events.
- Diagnosing and repairing faulty equipment's including troubleshooting electrical issues, mechanical failures, or plumbing problems.
- Coordinating with external service providers if specialized repairs are needed to ensure chef & kitchen team can operate equipment safely and efficiently.
- Responsible for servicing and attending to repairs on various MEP types of equipment's such as heating, ventilating and air conditioning equipment, including motors, pumps, fans, water treatment plant rooms equipment's and electric rooms equipment's.
- Assist and Performs civil works & other works as when required & instructed by management.
Compliance and Safety:
- Ensuring that all equipment complies with health and safety regulations, including local authority & standards.
- Conducting safety checks and ensuring that all safety devices are functional.
Inventory Management:
- Keeping track of spare parts and tools needed for maintenance and repairs.
- Prepare details for ordering new parts and supplies, as necessary.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintaining detailed records of maintenance and repair work performed, including parts used and labour hours.
- Reporting any recurring issues or significant problems to Engineering management.
Emergency Response & coordination:
- Responding quickly to emergency repair requests, especially during peak service hours when equipment failure can significantly impact operations.
- Working closely with kitchen staff, maintenance teams, and management to ensure smooth operations.

- Customer Service: Good communication skills to interact with hotel staff and address their concerns or needs.
- Attention to Detail: Precision in performing maintenance tasks and ensuring all work meets safety standards.
- Physical Stamina: The job may require lifting heavy equipment, working in confined spaces, and standing for long periods.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in electrical, mechanical, or plumbing work can be advantageous. Additionally, certifications related to safety and health regulations might be required.
