We are seeking an experienced MV - Electrical Systems Design Engineer to join our team in Dubai.
What youll do:
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of MV design principles, and applicable codes. Responsibilities include designing, analyzing, and implementing MV electrical systems for industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and specify electrical systems for Both Utilities & Industrial projects including O&G for power distribution and control systems
Analyze electrical load requirements, calculate voltage drop, and determine appropriate circuit protection to propose suitable MV solutions to Clients.
Prepare detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications
Close engagement with Consultants/PMCs for technical approvals.
Troubleshoot electrical system problems and provide technical support to End Users /PMC & Consultants.
Stay up-to-date on latest electrical codes and standards
Collaborate with End Users/EPCs & Consultants on project development and early engagement
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputed institute
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical system design for industrial applications
Skills:
In-depth knowledge of IEC, IEEE, NEC other applicable electrical codes and standards
Proficient in electrical design software
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
