Job Summary
Supervise the R&M team servicing NOV MWD kits and tools in the workshop. Ensure tools are loaded as required and specified in the Tool Request Form. Ensure enough equipment and inventory is available to cover the required forecast.
Responsibilities/Accountabilty & Authority
- Promoting and encouraging safe working practices within the workshop.
- Maintaining quality level in accordance to NOV service quality standards.
- Addressing SQ issues and raising the awareness of the team to the different aspects of HSE through daily toolbox meetings.
- Assigning daily jobs to MWD technicians through daily toolbox meetings.
- Oversee MWD tool service activities in workshop and report deviations from HSE, standard service and quality procedures.
- Monitor stock of consumable materials in workshop and place orders when needed.
- Review the service documents of Coiled Tubing Tools for completeness and accuracy prior to closure of work EDS reports and work orders.
- Providing technical assistance to technicians for servicing MWD Tools when necessary.
- Review safety stock of spare parts of MWD Tools and address/recommend the required changes to service manager when needed.
- Maintaining minimum number of MWD tools and kits in down status by placing orders for spare parts on time, reviewing safety stocks periodically, and servicing used tools on time.
- Receiving tool requests from for MWD Tools from sales team and plan the assembly and preparation of required tools accordingly, and then ensure on time delivery of requested tools.
- Ensuring the specifications/configurations of MWD tools delivered to customers are matching with tool request forms.
- Ensure quality alerts and engineering change notices issued by Engineering are implemented as required properly.
- Ensure Lithium batteries are being dealt with in safely.
- Ensuring that workshop equipment is properly maintained in a safe working condition
- Supervising training programs and oversee activities of new employees/trainees.
Behavioral Skills/Competencies & Experience Required
- Full compliance to HSE and quality procedures and requirements.
- Good written and verbal communications skills.
- Computer literacy.
Experience/Education/Skill-set Required
- Engineering degree.
- 3 -5 year's experience in similar field.
- Basic HSE training, good level of English language, reporting and documentation, QHSE regulatory and compliance.
