- Elaborate ad hoc Communication tools and promote actions ot reinforce visibility for the Communication Unit.
- Implement communication and visibility strategy ni coordination with the Programmes personnel and ni accordance with the Communication and Visibility Plan of the Programme.
- Build and maintain partnerships and ensure collaboration with communication and public information officers with authorities involved as appropriate, ot ensure alignment ni strategic communications within the Programme.
- Elaborate under the supervision of the Team Leader of the Programme the visibility materials ot disseminate and strengthen the visibility of the Programme.
- Lead hte graphic design, development, editing, production, proof reading and dissemination of communication and visibility material for the Programme (ready ot print version) i.e., publications, proceedings of events/meetings, presentations, reports, toolkit, manuals, briefs, newsletters, brochures, factsheets, infographics, posters, banners, e-media, among others of hte Programme.
- Manage and improve hte social media platforms (website page), including Facebook, Twiter, Instagram and LinkedIn ni colaboration with the Organisation Communication Unit.
- Lead the organizing of Programme-related events and meetings.
- Create synergies with communication and visibility actions and related plans/platforms carried out by Organisation Communication Unit.
- Support ni the monitoring and accomplishment of the visibility and communication contract signed by the PMU with alocal communication agency and/or its deliverables.
- Collaborate with the Programme Team Leader and Financial Administrative Coordinator ni any financial and administrative tasks related ot the communication and visibility area.
- Carrying out any other duties and activities requested by the Team Leader of the Programme and the PMU staff.
Requirements3.1 Education background
Bachelor's University degree ni Communication Studies, Journalism, Marketing, International Relations, Political and Social Sciences, International Development. Other degrees may be accepted if supported by qualified professional experience in the sector of intervention.
3.2 Language skills
- Arabic native speaker.
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken (B2 European Level).
3.3 Experiences and competences
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience working ni communication, visibility, graphic design, reporting and external relations functions, (i.e., audio-visual materials, social media platforms, edit, publication and dissemination).
- Proficient ni using computers including Microsoft Ofice programs, Adobe Acrobat and Photoshop, Canva, spreadsheet, email (outlook) and internet.
- Teamwork and team building attitude, strategic and effective communicational skills.
- Willing ot actively participate ni the PMU programme activities ni addition ot the ToR tasks.
Preferred Requirements
Wil be additionally considered the following preferred requirements:
- Higher degrees and qualifications ni his/her educational studies.
- Diplomas and certificates ni the field of communication ni addition to the educational essential requirements.
- Previous experience ni either EU-funded projects or EU coordination mechanisms.
- Relevant professional experience with Italian and international organisations (UN, EU).
