Your Role
In this role, you will take charge of coordinating and executing pricing responses to customer requests for information, proposals, and quotations (including spot quotations) on a national scale. You will also seamlessly handle pricing projects from other departments within the Kuehne+Nagel network, while also independently managing initiatives for customers in the UAE and Oman. In addition, you will contribute to staying ahead of the competition by updating and maintaining the competitiveness of Kuehne+Nagel products and QBA rates.
Your Responsibilities
Craft best-in-class responses: maximize opportunities for UAE & Oman organizations with top-tier responses.
Lead tender completion: take primary responsibility for UAE & Oman tenders, collaborating closely on rate and service solutions to meet customer needs.
Coordinate national responses: oversee Kuehne+Nagels responses to customer requests, proposals, and quotations (including spot quotations) on a national level.
Collaborate on pricing models: work with the UAE & Oman Air Logistics operation team to develop pricing models for key tender projects and conduct special rate analysis projects.
Ensure compliance: assure compliance with Global & Regional Pricing processes in every project, utilizing existing tools to create reliable and successful solutions.
Proactive communication: maintain proactive and regular communication with all involved parties.
Report success and opportunities: provide regular (weekly or monthly) reports on successes, pipeline status, and lost opportunities.
Update rates database: keep the rates database (AFRA, QBA, Catalogue rates) up to date.
