Job Purpose:
The National Supply Chain Manager will oversee and manage the end-to-end supply chain processes for the organization on a national level. This role is responsible for developing and implementing supply chain strategies that optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure timely delivery of products. Moving the company toward archiving the annual target in terms of ensuring the material availability, inventory management, proper Production planning, delivering products to Depots and monitoring the FG stocks for all Kingdom and its distribution to all sales channels.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement national supply chain strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions across the supply chain.
- Lead the supply planning of production and monitor the yearly, monthly and weekly planning.
- Lead and guide the region warehouse and distribution managers to achieve the warehouse and distribution target.
- Align with the Safety team to implement the guideline and target for route-to-market safety management.
- Develop inventory strategies for 24-depots to balance supply and demand while minimizing carrying costs and stockouts.
- Lead the operational excellence projects for warehousing and logistics.
- Manage all the import and export operation, documentation and get all required approval from related government authorities.
- Manage all haulage requirements for inter-city and all fleet requirements for 24 depots.
- Undertake frequent trips to branch/depot warehouses to ensure the above responsibilities are carried out.
Qualification & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience (7+ years) in supply chain management, with a focus on national-level operations FMCG experiance is perfferd.
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes, including production planning, inventory management, warehousing, and distribution.
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex logistics operations, including import/export and fleet management.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a track record of achieving operational targets.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on process improvement and cost reduction.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.
- Ability to travel frequently to branch/depot locations as required.
