Job title: Purchasing and Procurement Officer

Job Description /Responsibilities:
Collaborate with various departments to identify procurement needs and requirements.
Source and evaluate vendors based on quality, price, and delivery capabilities.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to secure favorable terms and conditions.
Monitor procurement activities through the ERP (Oracle) system and maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
Keeping track of ongoing projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Coordinate with Internal departments to understand project requirements and procure necessary resources accordingly.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, fostering collaboration and partnership.
Conduct vendor performance evaluations and address any issues or concerns to ensure compliance with contractual agreements.
Identify opportunities for strategic partnerships and collaborate with vendors to enhance product offerings and services.
Oversee company stock levels and ensure adequate inventory levels to meet demands.
Coordinate with warehouse and logistics teams to optimize stock replenishment and distribution processes.
Conduct regular stock audits and implement corrective actions as needed to maintain inventory accuracy.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Proven experience in procurement, vendor management, and project management.
Strong negotiation skills and ability to build effective relationships with vendors and stakeholders.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Knowledge of Courier & Logistic markets and industry trends is preferable.
Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) is a plus.
