The Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Network/Data Center Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing our network infrastructure and data center operations. You will ensure the reliability, performance, and security of our network systems and support the infrastructure needs of our organization.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls
- Manage and support data center operations, including server hardware, storage systems
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
- Implement and maintain network security measures to protect data and systems.
- Develop and maintain network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
- Plan and execute network upgrades, expansions, and migrations.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to support infrastructure needs and projects.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical support and guidance to team members and end-users.
- Automate network and data center tasks to improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer or Data Center Engineer.
- Extensive experience with network design, configuration, and management.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and security.
- Experience with data center infrastructure, including servers, storage, and virtualization.
- Proficiency in network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Knowledge of network security best practices and technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud networking and hybrid cloud environments.
- Experience with Kubernetes networking, Network policies, CNI and Network overlay.
- Experience with firewalls and web application firewalls (WAF).
- Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, PowerShell, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
