The Network Engineer is a seasoned subject matter expert, responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing company network infrastructure to ensure efficient and secure communication.
This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to support networking needs and plays a critical role in ensuring network reliability, performance, and security.
What you'll be doing
Key Responsibilities:
Design and Deployment

Design and deploy functional networks, including local area networks (LANs), wireless LANs (WLANs), and wide area networks (WANs).
Implement and optimize wireless communication systems for high data rate applications.
Simulate wireless networks and investigate algorithms for performance enhancements.
Configuration and Installation:
Configure and install software, servers, routers, and other network devices.
Set up and manage firewalls (e.g., Palo Alto, Juniper, Cisco ASA).
Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
Monitor network performance and integrity.
Resolve escalated issues by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure.
Skills and Qualifications:
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate with vendors, network technicians, and customers.
Availability for round-the-clock support of mission-critical applications.
Knowledge of routing protocols (e.g., OSPF, EIGRP, BGP).
Good knowledge and experience with emerging technologies like Software Defined WAN (SD-WAN) and 5G.
Preferred Certifications:
Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Wireless
Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Wireless
Certified Wireless Network Professional (CWNP)
